A new seating area in the basement of the barn. Ideal to put on and take off your shoes or just to put down your wine glass while playing billiards.

October 2022

We have renewed the roof of the barn. It was no longer watertight and the beams were getting on in years. The building regulations of Vals mandatorily require the use of stone slabs as a top layer. These came from the local quarry. Sustainable and beautiful.

The modification of the basement of the stable is completed. The spacious room has heating and serves as a reception, coat room and recreation room.

The centerpiece is an 8-foot pool table. We are confident you will spend a lot of time in this room.

Handover of Villa Vals

The new owners of Vills Vals, Silva and Iwan Stöcklin welcome you warmly.

We will continue to operate the house in short-term rental, in the spirit of the builders, and want to continue to open the Villa Vals for architecture and design lovers as well as for people who want to spend their vacations in a special house in the mountains.
